NOTE: Any company and all its subcontractors that perform certain trades on existing OPG sites, in accordance with either the EPSCA collective agreements, OR OPG/Building Trade Union collective agreements or the machinist collective agreement, are required to respect and comply with the provisions of these collective agreements. There are two possible findings with respect to work needs: when a labour requirement is defined as Form B, applicants are not required to perform the work by collective agreement. See how collective agreements determine how OPG works. If the CEF finds that the work must be completed as Form B, the contractor is not required to comply with the provisions of the collective agreements, but must pay a “fair” rate of pay, as described in the Form B communication.
